'Sex, Drugs And Bon Jovi' And Diane Lane (VIDEO) New Tell-All Book

'Sex, Drugs And Bon Jovi' And Diane Lane (VIDEO) Rocker Jon bon Jovi and actress Diane Lane, who were a hot item in 1985, apparently broke up over her growing "closeness" to guitarist Richie Sambora, a new tell-all book claims.

New Jersey rocker Jon bon Jovi and actress Diane Lane are the subject of a new book, 'Sex, Drugs And Bon Jovi', written by by the band's former tour manager, Rich Bozzett, who certainly had the inside scoop on what was up with America's most exciting band at the time.

Apparently, Lane's love of a partying lifestyle - which bon Jovi loved when it was directed his way - slopped over into a cozy relationship with Sambora, which angered the singer who had dumped his long-time girlfriend to party with his new lover.

Bon Jovi later reconciled with his high school sweetheart and they married in 1989. They have since had 4 children. Lane also had a daughter by now ex-husband Christopher Lambert, and later married Josh Brolin.

A statement issued by bon Jovi's reps makes it clear they are unhappy about the former manager's efforts to cash in on the band's experiences from 21 years ago. Bozzet, for his part, claims he was ripped off.

Jon Bon Jovi is in the house at Gillette Stadium

The Bon Jovi 2005 hit "Have a nice day" blared over the speakers during the morning practice, and that was a harbinger for the real deal as Jon Bon Jovi himself made his way to the Gillette Stadium practice fields just before 10 a.m. this morning.

Bon Jovi, making his annual visit to Foxborough to see the Patriots practice, was accompanied by Patriots owner Robert Kraft as they stopped by to chat with New Orleans Saints owner Tom Benson during the morning practice today.

"I just told a local station, I look forward to when we've got three of them [Super Bowl championships]," Benson said to Kraft. "You know what, I hope we're playing you in the game" Kraft said. Benson replied, "Me too, me too. That'd be great, and we've got a good relationship."

After the morning practice, Saints head coach Sean Payton talked about being offered the Saints head coaching job while he was at a Bon Jovi concert with his wife in Dallas.

Payton was asked if he would give a Bon Jovi a tryout at wide receiver like he did for country singer Kenny Chesney in 2008. "He's got a hamstring injury right now he said, so he's rehabbing" Payton said. "He pulled his calf muscle I think at one of his shows, I don't know if he could pass the physical today."

Bon Jovi furious at Forbes lists ommission

Rocker Bon Jovi was furious he failed to make two of the famed Forbes lists for musicians.
The star Bon Jovi was first left off the Forbes Power 100 list of the world's most powerful celebrities lead in July by Oprah Winfrey.
He was unimpressed in July when he failed to make it into the Forbes Musicians' Rich List topped by U2.
'Jon kicked up a huge fuss and got his people to complain,' an insider told the New York Post.
Why he didn't make the musicians list he couldn't understand since Bon Jovi has been touring non stop since February.
'Their contemporaries U2 and Bruce Springsteen were on the list. Even Britney Spears was No. 5, and she hasn't done anything this year.'
A representative for Bon Jovi denied he had ever complained about his omissions.
'That’s just so ridiculous. Last year, the band took an eight month break from touring, so there was no expectation that they would rank on this year's list.

'Next year, different story: their recent tour is No. 1 in North America right now and No. 2 worldwide.'

Bon Jovi's stadium gigs Sambora loving

Next Australian gigs to Bon Jovi's will be big scale stadium shows, but guitarist Richie Sambora is promising an 'intimate' experience for fans.
In December the band hits Australia as part of their two year world tour to promote their latest album, The Circle.
The rock storys announced last month they would play shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.
A second and final show for Sydney was announced on Wednesday, ahead of the start of general ticket sales on Thursday.
The band, which kicked off their tour in the US in February, has just completed a series of concerts at London's 02 Arena, and Sambora says he's loving the massive shows.
'Anybody that says they don't like it means they can't do it,' Sambora told AAP from his Los Angeles home during a week long break from the tour.
'The event is so much fun, to take part in that ... it actually comes down to us being able to do that and we do it very very well.
'Jon (Bon Jovi) happens to be one of the best frontmen when it comes down to making a stadium seem like a small place.'
Sambora says he's looking forward to coming back Down Under - the band was last here in 2008 - and he's promising Aussie fans a great concert experience.
'We're bringing the most amazing production, there's going to be a high-definition screen behind us that's 55 feet (16 metres) high and 115 feet (35 metres) long so everybody gets very close and personal to the band and it becomes an intimate kind of experience.'
With a career spanning almost three decades, Bon Jovi have sold more than 120 million albums and performed more than 2,600 concerts around the world.
The Circle is the New Jersey band's 11th studio album, released in November last year.
Before they hit our shores, Bon Jovi will also have released a best of double album, which contains five new songs and is due out in November. Aussie fans will be among the first in the world to hear some of those songs performed at a live concert.
Australia is one of 30 countries the band will visit during this world tour.
Sambora says the band has had a 'passionate love for Australia since the 80s' and the now single guitarist - he was married to TV star Heather Locklear and has dated actress Denise Richards joked that 'the girls have been very good'.

Jon Bon Jovi - Non-Stop Songwriter Jon Bon Jovi

Richie Sambora believes bandmate Jon Bon Jovi is so talented he can make music out of anything.
Jon Bon Jovi can pull songs "out of his butt".
Bon Jovi's frontman - who was inducted into the Songwriters' Hall of Fame in 2009 - can produce hit tracks from seemingly nowhere, according to his bandmate Richie Sambora.
The guitarist told BANG Showbiz: "Jon's like the quarter-back and he'll be pulling songs out of his butt!"
Despite having such a huge back catalogue, Bon Jovi have not stopped writing new material.
Richie explained: "About three weeks ago Jon calls me up and says, `Let's write a couple more songs'. So we wrote a couple more songs and they turned out really good. We called the band and got them back in the studio and now we're cutting them."
The group are currently mid-way through a 12-night residency at London's O2 Arena - which kicked off last Monday (07.06.10) - and have promised fans can expect something different every night.
Richie said: "In this place you're going to see a change every night because there's repeat clientele and it makes it different for us.
"Sometimes we'll just pick an obscure song we haven't done in 25 years. We've got 12 studio albums and a box set of like 50 songs that were previously unreleased.
"I think our master set list is somewhere around 90 songs."

BON JOVI PLAY ON O2 ARENA ROOF

We have all heard, read or seen some of the outrageous stunts that rock bands pull-off during their shows, only a few weeks ago I saw KISS frontman Paul Stanley fly across Birmingham’s NEC Arena for a rendition of ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’. However, putting the zip-lines and pyrotechnics to shame, Bon Jovi went a step further this week by playing ON TOP of London’s O2 Arena!

Last Monday (7h June) performing their opening gig of a 12-night residency at the prestigious venue, Bon Jovi pulled out all the stops on thrilling the crowds when the band performed on top of the dome while being beamed to the video screens flanking the stage inside. Unbelievable as it may seem but The Telegraph reports that Screen were placed in the venue’s outside area, Peninsula Square, which has been used to host free gigs and video displays in the past. Standing at over 50 metres high, mountaineers were drafted in to help the band ascend the former Millennium Dome, with its protruding steel masts slating out of the roof at 100 metres high.

Bon Jovi will be familiar with the venue having opened the arena on June 24th 2007. The band’s support at the show included One Republic and Kid Rock with unsigned band The Side warming up the crowds having won a support slot through a national online competition.

The five bands who are crowned winners will go on to triumph with an opening slot at one of the June gigs.

Bon Jovi is looking for opening acts in eight cities on its forthcoming The Circle Tour, including its Winnipeg concert at Canad Inns Stadium on July 17.

One local unsigned rock, pop or country act from each city will be selected to open for the New Jersey group as part of the Wanted: A SuperBand Tonight contest.

Giving love a bad name: Bon Jovi fan fined for blasting out band's tracks 'to help cope with divorce'

A heartbroken householder made her neighbours' lives a misery by constantly blasting out Bon Jovi songs during her divorce.

Amanda Durkin, 35, claimed playing tracks including Livin' On A Prayer and Bad Medicine helped her cope with the break-up of her marriage.

Ms Durkin played the tracks from 11pm until the early hours of the morning for six months.

Her stressed-out neighbours eventually installed recording equipment to monitor the noise levels.

Hull Magistrates' Court heard that complaints first began last year on April 14th after Ms Durkin's husband left her.

Council chiefs tried to tackle the noise nuisance by seizing her stereo system twice, issuing fines and eventually re-homing Ms Durkin.

Prosecutor Vincent Blake Barnard said: 'This is a noise nuisance issue over quite a period of time.

'Recordings were obtained and confirmed there was a nuisance by music being played in the early hours.

'We seized equipment from the premises and it was thought that would resolve the problem, but shortly after that there were further complaints.

'She was interviewed under caution and confirmed that she had received all of the warnings, but, due to personal problems in her life, chose to ignore them.

'The council attempted to resolve it, but to no avail and it has been brought to court.'

One neighbour, who asked not to be named, said: 'It got worse when her partner left her, and became intolerable. We complained because the noise was making our lives a misery.

'The booming music made it impossible to sleep. We were getting to our wit's end with the noise.'

Speaking at her new address,Ms Durkin said she was 'going through a divorce', adding: 'I didn't know what I was doing.'

Despite a summons being issued, she failed to attend the hearing.

Kenneth Richardson, chair of the magistrates bench, ordered that all her stereo equipment should be confiscated.

Bon Jovi fits D.C.

Older and wiser aren't adjectives ordinarily associated with rock bands, but the Bon Jovi that will hit the stage at the Verizon Center on Monday has certainly changed and matured over the years.

Take the group's current album, "The Circle."
It's got songs such as "Work for the Working Man," which could almost be described as an economic policy anthem, "economic policy" also not words often associated with rock 'n' roll.
Still, guitarist and songwriter Richie Sambora said, "The Circle" isn't about "being on the road and girls and, you know, cars and things like that."
"We couldn't have written this album if the world wasn't in the state it was in," Sambora said in a conference call with reporters last month. "Jon and I were really conscious of what people were feeling around the world, you know, with the changes that were happening, especially in our world."

"The Circle," released in November, wasn't even supposed to be the next record for the band.
Sambora and Jon Bon Jovi started to write some new songs for a greatest hits album.
But then they were inspired by President Barack Obama's election, Sambora said, and rattled by the economic recession.

"And, I mean, I related to it particularly because my dad worked in a factory," he said, "and he got laid off periodically where he had to go find a job."

Paying attention to current events—and even just literally to the world around them—has helped Bon Jovi keep out of songwriting ruts, Sambora said.

He said the band's single, "Superman Tonight," is really the only song on the new album that could be called a "boy/girl" tune.

Bon Jovi show, staying power awes

About halfway through his band's near-capacity show at the Pepsi Center on Monday night, Jon Bon Jovi did something only he could do. He covered Leonard Cohen's iconic ballad "Hallelujah" in his own signature style — with an emotive growl, arms outstretched to the sky and a shell necklace topping off a graying pattern of chest hair, which was glistening above four unfastened snap buttons.
Some might consider the Cohen song a contemplative meditation. Bon Jovi sees the song as an arena rock ballad, not unlike his own jams "I'll Be There For You" and "When We Were Beautiful."
As over-the-top and ridiculous as Bon Jovi can be, his staying power is something to be admired. He and his band have been writing hit songs for decades, and their show at the Pepsi Center — celebrating their latest CD, "The Circle" — was an energetic showcase of their ever-growing catalog.
The band got started quickly with "We Weren't Born to Follow," an album-perfect take on "You Give Love a Bad Name" and a KYGO-friendly "Lost Highway." "Born to Be My Baby" is as predictable as late-'80s rock songs get, but it had the female-heavy audience singing along and dancing in the aisles as if it were a modern Top 40 hit.
Especially impressive about Bon Jovi's stage show: The video screens that soared above the stage were among the coolest — and most easily manipulated — in arena-rock history. They created their own spectacular light show and ensured that everybody, including those behind the stage, got a great show.
Most impressive about the crowd: Its amazing youth. Sure, there were some hilarious mullets and butt-rockers in attendance. But the floor also was littered with really young, beautiful men and women — people who could have easily been in the same, expensive position at a Lady Gaga concert.
In "Bad Medicine," Jon appeared to favor stage left, and sure enough, it seemed like he was singing to former Broncos quarterback John Elway, who was prominently positioned in the front rows of the arena's bowl. In the middle of the aging, if still vital, hit, Bon Jovi joked about being in a bar band with a few standard rock covers.
"I ain't in a bar band no more," Bon Jovi said with a hip twist. "I'm here on business — the business of pleasure."
Elway sang along as he finished "Bad Medicine," and so did everybody else. Highlights in the rest of the set included a heartfelt "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night" and a righteous "Livin' on a Prayer."Read more:

Bon Jovi's Fears Over Hair Loss

Bon Jovi rocker Jon Bon Jovi fears he may be starting to lose his hair, and is already devising treatments to help save his prized locks.

The 46-year-old singer has long been known for his long, flowing tresses but has opted for a shorter style in recent years.

And he puts the change down to his receding hairline, which is starting to make him paranoid about ending up bald.

Bon Jovi says, "Oh, let me tell you, I am so worried (about my hair). I look at guys like Sting and think, 'Well, he's cool about it,' but I'm already losing it a bit and I'm so aware of it.
"Someone told me that you have to regularly massage your scalp, so I do that all the time. You look like a jerk, but it's got to be worth a shot, right?
